Beast of Reincarnation: Where to Play & Game Pass

PS5, Xbox, PC or Game Pass — where should you play Beast of Reincarnation? A quick guide to every way to play Game Freak's action RPG and which option suits you.

By Beast of Reincarnation Wiki Team 4 min read

Beast of Reincarnation launches across three platforms on August 4, 2026, plus Xbox Game Pass. Here’s a quick guide to each option and who it’s best for.

Every way to play

  • PlayStation 5 — the native current-gen PlayStation version.
  • Xbox Series X|S — the native current-gen Xbox version.
  • PC (Steam)store page here; see our System Requirements guide.
  • Xbox Game Pass — included day one.

Game Pass: the value pick

The standout option for many players is Xbox Game Pass, which includes Beast of Reincarnation at launch. If you subscribe (on console or PC), you can play the full game on day one without buying it separately — easily the cheapest way to try a brand-new AAA release. If you’re on the fence about the game, Game Pass is the low-risk way in.

Which should you choose?

  • Want it cheapest / lowest commitment? Xbox Game Pass on console or PC.
  • On PlayStation? The PS5 version is your route — it’s the platform the date was first confirmed for.
  • PC enthusiast? Steam gives you the usual PC benefits (settings, mods potential, achievements, cloud saves). Check your hardware against our requirements estimate first.
  • Want to own it on Xbox? You can buy it outright on Xbox Series X|S even if you don’t subscribe.

A note on the launch

A simultaneous PS5 / Xbox / PC release with day-one Game Pass is an aggressive, player-friendly rollout — and a notable one for Game Freak’s first AAA game outside Pokémon. Whichever platform you pick, you’re getting the game on day one.
