Beast of Reincarnation is available now. Game Freak’s one-person, one-dog action RPG launched on August 4, 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC. The date was announced by PlayStation and Xbox, while Fictions’ support pages and the official stores provide the practical details: where to buy it, what is included, how Game Pass fits in, and where to go if a launch-day problem gets in the way.

Release date and regional store timing

The official release date is August 4, 2026. PlayStation’s February announcement named that date for PS5, and Xbox’s game page lists the same date for its console and PC release. That is the date to use when checking official news, patch notes and launch coverage.

Store pages can occasionally show a different calendar date depending on the region, local time zone or the storefront’s own display convention. PlayStation 5

PlayStation’s official announcement is also a useful first-party overview of the setup: Emma handles real-time sword actions, while Koo’s abilities are selected through a command system that slows the action. That description is a good expectation-setter, but it is not a substitute for a controls guide or an accessibility audit; those details should be checked in the finished game and in the current settings menu.

Xbox Series X|S and Xbox on PC

Xbox lists Beast of Reincarnation for Xbox Series X|S and Windows 10/11, and identifies it as an Xbox Play Anywhere title. In practical terms, confirm the entitlement and supported features in the Xbox app or console store attached to your account before buying. Store capabilities, cloud options and regional bundles can be changed by the platform holder, so the live listing is more authoritative than an older promotional graphic.

Steam on PC

Steam sells the PC edition directly and currently lists single-player play, Steam achievements, Steam Cloud and Family Sharing among the store features. Its language table includes English audio as well as multiple interface and subtitle options. Those are store-level features, not a promise that every setting or platform function is identical across editions, so consult the live Steam page if a particular language or feature matters to you.

Game Pass availability

Beast of Reincarnation is included with Xbox Game Pass. Xbox’s official page labels the Standard Edition as included, and the Xbox Wire announcement described day-one availability for Game Pass Ultimate. That makes Game Pass a useful option if you already subscribe and want to play on the supported Xbox/PC ecosystem without separately purchasing the Standard Edition.

There are two important caveats. First, Game Pass plans, cloud access and catalog availability can vary by country and change over time. Second, “included with Game Pass” is not the same as owning a permanent store license. Before choosing that route, open the title in the Xbox app or your local Xbox store, confirm that your current plan is eligible, and read the current terms shown to your account.

Standard Edition, Deluxe Edition and physical copies

The official Steam listing has a Standard Edition and a Deluxe Edition. Fictions’ edition information names the Deluxe extras as cosmetic items for Koo, an Oni’s Hat for Emma, the Big Dipper sword, 100,000 Amber and vegetable seedlings. The same support article says that the Deluxe bonuses remain part of the Deluxe purchase after the pre-order period.

Older listings may also mention a Brown Shiba Skin for Koo and 30,000 Amber as Standard Edition pre-order items. Those were tied to pre-order terms. If you bought before launch and are missing an item, use Fictions’ official support information rather than relying on a community screenshot or an outdated retailer description.

Physical availability is regional. Fictions notes that physical editions were available through selected retailers and that the exact retailers differ by country. If a boxed copy is important to you, check a reputable local retailer and verify the platform, region and edition before ordering. A physical package can carry a different bonus code, language selection or return policy from its digital counterpart.

PC requirements at a glance

The Steam page lists a 64-bit Windows 10/11 system, 16 GB of memory, DirectX 12 and 45 GB of available storage. Its listed minimum tier uses an Intel Core i5-8400 or AMD Ryzen 5 3600 with a GeForce GTX 1070 8 GB or Radeon RX 580 8 GB. The recommended tier moves to an Intel Core i7-12700K or Ryzen 7 5800X with a GeForce RTX 3060 12 GB or Radeon RX 6700 XT.

Requirements are a starting point, not a guarantee of a particular result on every PC.
